Our history begins in 1994 when a few young guys from Digital Equipment Corporation decided to break out on their own. "We were trying to figure out who we wanted to be when we 'grew up'," said John Barker, co-founder of Versatile.

In our first few years, we focused on building and installing high availability data centers. As we strengthened our team of engineers, we refined our technology methodologies. In 1998, we started a partnership with HP and their ProCurve division to begin building our networking infrastructure practice.

We spent the next eleven years delivering infrastructure solutions that enable anytime, anywhere, secure communications throughout our clients’ organizations across their LAN, WAN and wireless networks.

In 1998, we added our technology training practice to fill a gap our clients were facing in implementing infrastructure solutions and managing their own IT environment. We were so successful in meeting the need that HP asked us to become their dedicated HP ProCurve Networking products training source for North America. We’ve spent the last five years transferring our knowledge of networking with HP’s IT staff, ProCurve resellers and HP’s clients.

Today, we spend our days helping our clients protect, manage and enhance their IT infrastructure. That includes comprehensive solutions that help organizations protect and manage their data, optimize their data centers, and enhance their IT infrastructure.
